SNIP Regional Spay/Neuter Clinic
Scheduling a surgery or vaccine clinic appointment

You may schedule your pet for surgery or vaccine clinic either by calling us at 704-799-7647 or by stopping by our facility on Monday’s or Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., or on Wednesday’s from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

We currently schedule surgeries on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Vaccine Clinics are held every Wednesday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Please take a moment to look at our admission form online. This is a copy of the official surgical release form the pet owner will sign the day of surgery. The original form you sign the day of surgery will also include post operative instructions you will need when you take your pet home after surgery.

In order to guarantee your pet’s surgery date, SNIP Clinic does require payment at the time you schedule your appointment. This guarantees reservation of your pets surgical date. We have a no refund policy.  If you need to cancel your appointment, we will gladly reschedule your surgery at a later date. Otherwise, monies you have paid for surgeries can be applied to other services (including other animals, vaccine clinics, etc…), and must be used within 6 months of initial surgery date.

A current rabies vaccine is required for your pet. Please bring a copy of your pets current rabies certificate with you on the day of surgery. If your pet is not current on their rabies vaccination, one will be administered for a nominal $10 fee.

Other vaccines are available to your pet at the time of surgery as well as heartworm testing for dogs and feline leukemia testing for your cat.

In preparation for anesthesia, please ensure that your pet has nothing to eat or drink after 10 p.m. the night before or the morning of surgery (Rabbits and most exotic animals are allowed water and food up until the time of surgery - Please include their regular diet in/with your carrier ).

Your dog should come into the clinic on a leash and your cat, rabbit or exotic pet should come in a pet carrier.

Please make sure to walk your dog before dropping them off.

Your pet will be ready to be picked up at 5:15 p.m. the same day (depending on our surgery schedule for the day, pickup time may be earlier. You will be notified at drop off if discharge time will be different). Post operative instructions will be given to you by Doctor Broome or a veterinary technician when you pick up your pet.  Any additional services or medicines will need to be paid at the time of pick-up.

If you have any concerns or questions about your pet after its surgery, please call SNIP Clinic right away. We will have you come in with your pet for a re-check if necessary. If your pet is in distress over the weekend or after clinic hours, please call your regular veterinarian or go to the After Hours Emergency Clinic closest to you.
